About the Role
The Governing Body of Hope School wish to appoint a highly committed, professional teacher to join our team. As an attachment-friendly community you will need to be able to establish a warm and welcoming classroom environment that follows an attachment friendly approach, treating each child as an individual and ensuring all can meet their potential. To follow an approach that looks at both emotional and academic needs, assisting children to develop emotional security, self-belief and mature social skills and assist all children to develop a love of learning and an excitement about coming to school each day. The post holder must, at all times, carry out his or her duties and responsibilities in accordance with the aims of the School and in such a manner as to enhance the good reputation of the School. Applications are welcome from NQTs or more experienced colleagues. A supportive induction programme is in place for all new staff.
We are seeking to appoint a teacher who:
• has experience and/or ability to offer a range of curriculum areas across KS2 and KS3
• is an excellent classroom practitioner
• committed to the development of every child within an inclusive environment
• can work as a flexible member of a team
• interested in or have experience of working with children with SEMH
• is supportive of a non exclusion policy
