Providing an attachment friendly community which fosters warmth with high boundaries so that all can achieve to their full potential.
Welcome to Omega. We are a Year 5/6 class of 7 boys, most of whom will be completing SATs in May. Our class teacher is Miss Gee. We are very lucky to be supported in class every day by Mrs McDonald and Mr Gallagher, they lead our interventions and helps us to become the best learners that we can be.

Each week, on a Thursday, we will bring home a reading and homework book. Please spend some time to help us with this, and make sure that homework is completed weekly and returned to school by the following Thursday. It is also very important that we read at home with our parents and carers 3 times a week to help us make as much progress as possible. Please make sure all of our reading is recorded in our reading records every time we read - our teachers love to hear how well we are doing at home!
All pupils receive intervention which is based on an individualised learning plan to support them with their additional needs and to ensure they continue to make good progress. As a school we use Read Write Inc. to support early reading and writing. This is a multi-sensory approach that has proven very successful. Pupils also complete sensory circuits throughout the day to help them self-regulate and be ready to learn.
This term Omega will be visiting Tree Tops, this links in with our term topic 'Teamwork'. During the trip pupils will take part in different climbing activities and must work as a team to complete them.
