Curriculum Around the Pupil (CAP)

Each day pupils will take part in a practical learning session known as CAP (Curriculum Around the Pupil) between 1:20 and 2pm.

The sessions now have an element of 'Life Skills' during every session, including:

Cooking, event planning, fixing a range of items and shopping.

We are now using ASDAN for pupils. ASDAN's programmes and qualifications for secondary schools range from helping learners make a successful start in secondary education to boosting engagement and motivation, developing core skills, and enhancing academic performance.

ASDAN's Short Courses provide accreditation for 10 to 60 hours of activities.
