A message from our class teacher Mr Darkins

Hello and welcome to our class page. Here you will find information on what we are learning, the trips we will be undertaking and the extra special days that we take part in such as outdoor learning days. 

We are a class made up of a mix of year 5 and 6 pupils, following the year 5 curriculum. We are taught by Mr Darkins and fortunate enough to be supported by Mrs Gomes and Miss Hayes.

Each day we will upload images of our learning so that you can see what we have been enjoying!

On a Thursday we have our active learning day, including Aerial Ninjas and Swimming, on these days pupils can wear a plain black top and jogging bottoms, and trainers. For Swimming pupils will need a swimming costume or trunks, and a towel. It is really important that pupils attend swimming as this is a life skill, they are four coaches avaliable plus school staff who are qualified swim coaches so we can cater for all pupils' need, ability and confidence. More than anything we want pupils to be comfortable and confident around water.
